It's so cool to have made the front page of the Hudson Valley One newspaper in an article about my volunteering for Ukrainian refugees last summer.
Is HV1 the only newspaper that continues to write--long? Perhaps, and I'm so grateful for their time and attention to get my story right.
They sent a photographer, with a real camera, to take my photo. Actually, that was the hardest part for me. I get so nervous when people take my picture.
You can interview me all day. In person, on zoom or on television and I don't get the least bit nervous. But pick up a camera and I start to shake.
